We often practice meditation – however the state of meditation is rarely reached.

It is advised to practice a few yoga poses before sitting in meditation to feel more comfortable. Meditation releases stress, anxiety and brings about a sense of calm.

There are many scientific studies that prove that meditation increases awareness and grey matter in the brain (Grey matter contains most of the brain’s neuronal cell bodies. The grey matter includes regions of the brain involved in muscle control, and sensory perception such as seeing and hearing, memory, emotions, speech, decision making, and self-control.)

The practice of meditation can play a vital role in the well- being and quality of life.
